Scouse Press was established by Fritz Spiegl in 1965. We are Liverpool's oldest Publishers of Books, Historic Maps and Street Directories, the famous series of "Liverpool Packets" Views and Postcards. Also some of Fritz Spiegl's own books on music and language published by national publishers: HarperCollins, Marion Boyars, Elm Tree, RKP, Kyle Cathie, Pan, Parthenon etc.

Scouse Press is run by Ingrid Spiegl. There is no shop, so alas personal visits for browsing are not possible.

There is at present no credit card facility. Postage is extra. Payment in sterling please, though smaller sums are acceptable in unused UK stamps of any face value.

We regret we do not publish fiction, poetry, children's books or personal reminiscences.
